Over the course of the last year (or so), Drew has been documenting the construction of the Track at New Balance, a superlative resource for track and field athletes, from fitness fanatics to those working towards the summer games.

The new Boston Landing Track & Field complex features a 200 meter hydraulically banked track, seating for over 5,000 cheering fans, plus uncompromising facilities for training, events, and recovery. Ground floor retail rounds out Boston’s destination location for athlete endeavors, including a 3,500 seat music venue called Roadrunner. Katz, a licensed remote pilot, used a drone to capture progress outdoors and video of the production indoors to be used for a film documenting the build. He also took photographs of key points in the building process on the ground. Below are some shots and clips of the progress.
